Our beautiful patient came to us feeling out of options, and depressed. She had suffered a severe gunshot wound to the right side of her face, which was through and through, and despite a meticulous repair, this led to an unsightly depressed scar. This scar caused her significant emotional distress, as her children’s peers would sometimes make fun of her, which only added to her severe dissatisfaction. Recognizing her situation, I offered to donate my services to help restore her confidence. Since the cheek moves, with speaking or chewing, developing a widened scar is the norm, not the exception, so I did not recommend scar revision. Instead, I recommended permanently filling the depressed area with microdroplet Silikon-1000 injections. Since the patient was very emotional about this, she asked us to perform a ceiling demonstration, and when she looked in the mirror afterwards, I could see she was thrilled. Since microdroplet Silikon-1000 injections are permanent and irremovable, if I am uncertain whether or not we can achieve a desired result, or if a patient would like to see how they will look after Silikon-1000, we simply inject salt water, and that leads to a desired result that will last for several hours. One week later, we proceeded with a silikon-1000 treatment, and one month after that we did another. She is seen in her photographs and in her video, two months after her initial treatment. We are all extremely pleased with her results, and I am beyond grateful that she has allowed us to post her story and her outcome.
