Our beautiful patient is shown after a single permanent non-surgical nose job treatment to improve nostril asymmetry following a previous rhinoplasty. Her original surgery was done many years ago by another provider. She was generally happy with the overall appearance of her nose, but she was bothered by the fact that her left nostril margin appeared higher than the right.
With just one treatment using microdroplet Silikon-1000 to the left nostril margin, we achieved a natural-looking and permanent result. The procedure is performed using topical anesthetic and involves no downtime.
We are truly grateful that she allowed us to share her photographs. In similar cases, over 90 percent of rhinoplasty specialists would typically recommend revision rhinoplasty with alar rim grafting as the only option. Her results show significant improvement without the inconvenience, cost, and uncertainty that can come with revision surgery.
In cases like this, we believe microdroplet Silikon-1000 injections are a safer and more predictable alternative to revision rhinoplasty. We also do not recommend using temporary gel fillers in the nose after previous rhinoplasty. Although rare, they have been associated with complications such as necrosis, embolism, blindness, stroke, infection, or biofilm formation.
Silikon-1000 has a molecular size smaller than a red blood cell. In our 26 years of experience, and in more than 60 years of medical use, we have not seen these complications occur. This makes it a reliable and permanent solution for non-surgical nasal refinement.
