These photos were taken 9 months following chin implant surgery, and rhinoplasty surgery in our beautiful 28 year old patient. This is a good example of the balance between your nose and chin on profile. When someone's nose is too large, this appearance may be worsened by a weak chin appearance. The combination of these two procedures may provide an exponential benefit for those who might be of benefit. Her nasal surgery was both functional and cosmetic. You can see hump reduction and tip lifting. She also had correction of a severely deviated nasal septum, along with turbinate reduction and a left spreader graft - all to improve her nasal breathing.

Chin & Neck Before & After: Neck Liposuction for Reduction of Double-Chin

Neck liposuction is also called “submental liposuction” since it involves the removal of fat under the chin. Our patient was bothered by the appearance of her exercise-resistant neck fat that was causing a double-chin. We prefer neck liposuction to Kybella since it’s cost-effective with little downtime- leading to more predictable results.

These photos demonstrate the cumulative benefit of combining neck liposuction with chin implant surgery. In this instance, we used the largest chin implant available - a Flower’s Mandibular Glove, size XL. Surgery time is under an hour, and there is little downtime. His implant was placed through a one-inch incision under his chin.
