Rhinoplasty Before & After: Refined a Pointy, Overprojected Nasal Tip & Corrected Breathing Issues

Rhinoplasty #295

These photos are an excellent demonstration of a complicated functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty surgery procedure. The before photos reveal an overprojected, and pointy nasal tip appearance, with a deviated nasal septum, tension lip deformity, and a small dorsal hump. She also had congenital weakness of her external nasal valves and turbinate enlargement. If her external nasal valve weakness was not recognized preoperatively, her breathing would have worsened after reduction rhinoplasty.

In her after photos, you can see a natural looking, less projected, and less distracting nasal appearance that simply blends in. Her airway was supported with lateral crural strut grafts, her deviated nasal septum was corrected, and her turbinates were reduced. She is breathing better, and we are all thrilled with her results. If you look carefully, you can also see that her lips are one size larger. These are the types of natural looking results that we get utilizing microdroplet Silikon-1000 for permanent lip augmentation procedures. I am grateful she has allowed us to share her results.
