Rhinoplasty Before & After: Corrected a Wide, Crooked Nose, Droopy Tip & Dorsal Hump After Nasal Trauma

Our beautiful patient is seen before, and 6 months following a complicated rhinoplasty surgery, after severe nasal trauma. In some people, nasal trauma can lead to a nasal septal perforation, and it can also lead to disruption of the ligaments that normally connect between the nasal tip and the bottom of the nasal septum. Disruption of those ligaments often leads to a droopy nasal tip appearance. Our patient was dissatisfied with the appearance of her wide and crooked nasal appearance, along with her droopy tip, and dorsal hump. Since she did not have adequate nasal septum for grafting purposes, we utilized MTF fresh frozen cartilage for nasal tip and Airway reconstruction. We narrowed her nose, and we supported her droopy tip with a strong columella shoring strut graft. We also utilized lateral crural strut grafts to keep her external nasal valves open. We are Beyond grateful that she has allowed us to post her photos which reveal a better breathing, less distracting, and more feminine nasal appearance.
