Rhinoplasty Before & After: Deviated Septum Correction and Refined Nasal Appearance

Our beautiful 28-year-old patient is seen 2.5 years after functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty surgery. She had a severely deviated nasal septum that was obstructing her airway, and causing a small irregularity and asymmetry on the base view of her nose. This was associated with a wide nasal appearance, and an overprojected profile nasal appearance. In the after photos, you can see a narrower and less projected nasal appearance that is completely natural. She is breathing well and she's thrilled with her results, and we are grateful that she has allowed us to post her photos.

These updated before and after photos are one year following rhinoplasty surgery in our beautiful patient. Before surgery, you can see that she had an overprojected nasal profile appearance. That means her bridge and tip stuck out too far. This was associated with a wide nasal appearance and a droopy nasal tip, worse with smiling. We just saw her at her anniversary, and we are all thrilled. You can see a less distracting, less projected, narrower, and more feminine nasal appearance that does not have any stigmata of previous rhinoplasty surgery. I am so grateful that she allowed us to post her photos.

He had a severely deviated nasal septum that was causing severe nasal obstruction, and he was unhappy with his wide nasal appearance, dorsal hump, and droopy tip. He also had severely enlarged turbinates, likely due to allergies, which further contributed to his severe nasal obstruction. His surgery consisted of nasal narrowing, dorsal reduction, tip lifting, septoplasty, and turbinate reduction. The goals of male rhinoplasty surgery are to improve breathing while creating a less distracting and masculine nasal appearance. We are beyond grateful that our handsome patient has allowed us to post his photographs.
