Rhinoplasty Before & After: Corrected a Deviated Septum, Straightened the Bridge & Refined the Tip

Rhinoplasty #281

Our beautiful patient is seen at her one-year anniversary after functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty surgery. She had chronic nasal obstruction from a deviated nasal septum and a narrow right internal nasal valve, which also contributed to a crooked nasal appearance, a bulbous droopy tip, and a dorsal hump. After surgery, you can see a natural-looking nasal appearance that is less distracting, and we are all grateful that our patient is now breathing very well. Her airway was repaired with a septoplasty and a right-sided spreader graft, which also contributed to a straighter nasal appearance. Because of her thick skin, we utilized an extended shield graft to achieve tip narrowing and improved nasal tip support, ensuring that her tip should not droop with aging. We are so grateful that she has allowed us to use her photographs.

Patient Review:

“Dr Joseph is not only an incredibly talented surgeon but also so kind. I had wanted a rhinoplasty since I was young and stumbled upon his account randomly and I loved the natural results he is able to achieve. I had a very deviated nose and he was able to fix every small and big thing I wanted to correct with my nose’s appearance and he got it to look exactly how I wanted it to look. His office keeps you highly informed the whole time and the healing process was even easier than a previous septoplasty I received years ago. I highly recommend Dr. Jospeh for any natural functional rhinoplasty needs. He is a magician!”

Rhinoplasty Before & After: Shortened the Nose and Corrected a Deviated Septum

Rhinoplasty #280

Our beautiful 28-year-old patient is seen one month after functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty surgery. Her nasal obstruction was due to a deviated nasal septum and external nasal valvular collapse. From an aesthetic standpoint, the patient didn’t like that her nose stuck out too far, was too long, and was associated with a dorsal hump and a droopy tip, especially when smiling. We derojected her nose, narrowed her nose, shortened her nose, corrected her deviated nasal septum, and strengthened her external nasal valves with lateral crural extension grafts. You can still see swelling in the lower third of her nose, which is normal only one month postoperative. We are beyond grateful that she has allowed us to share her photographs.

Rhinoplasty Before & After: A Less Projected + Narrower Nasal Appearance

Rhinoplasty #279

These updated before and after photos are one year following rhinoplasty surgery in our beautiful patient. Before surgery, you can see that she had an overprojected nasal profile appearance. That means her bridge and tip stuck out too far. This was associated with a wide nasal appearance and a droopy nasal tip, worse with smiling. We just saw her at her anniversary, and we are all thrilled. You can see a less distracting, less projected, narrower, and more feminine nasal appearance that does not have any stigmata of previous rhinoplasty surgery. I am so grateful that she allowed us to post her photos.

Rhinoplasty Before & After: Corrected Nasal Obstruction & an Overprojected Tip

Rhinoplasty #278

Our beautiful 22 year old patient is seen before and 1 year after functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty surgery. Her nasal obstruction was from a severely deviated nasal septum, and enlarged turbinates. She was also unhappy with her over projected nasal profile appearance - that means that her tip and bridge protruded too far. You can see a less projected, less distracting, and more feminine nasal appearance, and she is breathing normally after surgery. We are grateful that she has allowed us to post her photos!

Rhinoplasty Before & After: Addressed an Overprojected Nasal Appearance

Rhinoplasty #278

Our beautiful high school student is seen before and one year after rhinoplasty surgery performed in our practice. She was mostly concerned by her overprojected nasal profile appearance—her nose simply stuck out too far and was distracting. She is thrilled with her smaller and more feminine nasal appearance, and she is confident heading off to college in August.
